In one the more significant moves you’ll see this far along in the 2017 recruiting process, Southern California picked up one of the late rising elite names this summer in the Northern California standout, Jamal O’Guinn (Clovis, CA). O’Guinn was an eye opener last month at the Area Code Games in Long Beach, but also put himself squarely on the radar with some impressive at-bats against eventual 2016 first round draft choice Matt Manning this past spring.
