With the summer circuit concluded and the fall barreling toward us, now is as good a time as any to take a step back and examine the state of the crop of high school talent in the 2017 draft pool. Some of these players will compete on a big stage in Jupiter in late October, but many of them also will not perform in front of scouts until next spring, making this end of summer sneak peek at the class all the more interesting.
