A&M Long-ing For Dominance

HOUSTON — Texas A&M righthander Grayson Long might just be blooming at the right time.

Long has been considered one of the better prospects in his draft class since he arrived at A&M, but there’s always been a little bit of hesitancy about his overall package. Long hasn’t always held up well in stressful situations, which can be the case with many young pitchers in college baseball. And despite his impressive 6-foot-5, 215-pound frame, and overall above-average stuff in the past, Long hadn’t developed any true swing-and-miss offerings.
