Austin Peay has its 11th head coach in school history, as the school announced Wednesday it has hired Jacksonville State top assistant Travis Janssen.
Janssen arrives in Clarksville, Tenn., with a wide range of experience in the Ohio Valley Conference. Janssen actually spent 2006-2011 with the JSU Gamecocks before becoming the head coach at Northeastern State (Okla.), and then rejoining the Gamecocks this past summer with hopes of soon becoming a head coach at the Division I level.
