Eight For Omaha In 2019Analysis
The 2018 College World Series just ended on Thursday, but we’re already looking ahead to next year. A lot can change between now and next spring — the MLB draft signing deadline later this week will go a long way toward determining how college rosters will shape up — but this is still a useful exercise.
Two years ago, Aaron Fitt and Kendall Rogers both correctly identified five of the eight CWS participants a year in advance. Last year, Fitt once again correctly projected five teams that made the 2018 CWS (Arkansas, Oregon State, North Carolina, Florida and Texas Tech), while Rogers got three (along with three other teams that wound up earning national seeds but did not reach the CWS). This time around, our duo agrees on four of the eight participants for the 2019 CWS. Let’s look ahead.
