MINNEAPOLIS — Sitting behind a microphone on Friday afternoon, Chris Lemonis looked entirely unsurprised not only to be coaching into Saturday, but to have a stranglehold on a regional bid. Indiana is one of three Big Ten teams, along with Ohio State and Nebraska, to have had their names written in the field of 64 in pen in March, then scratched out. Ohio State and Nebraska went home yesterday, but Indiana, with a 10-2 demolition of second-seeded Iowa, is not only still drawing breath, but playing its best baseball of the year.
