MUNCIE, Ind. – The preseason favorite in the MAC, Ball State kicked off conference play with a series win over Western Michigan last weekend, taking two-of-three against the Broncos. While none of the games were exceptionally enthralling – each was decided by eight runs or more – several Cardinals stood out.  

Trennor O’Donnell and Logan Schulfer set the tone on Friday, holding Western Michigan to three runs while combining to strike out nine the Cardinals 11-3 win.
