YPSILANTI, Mich. – Coming off a few uncharacteristically down seasons, Kent State is back atop the Mid-American Conference standings with one week remaining, looking to secure a regional bid for the first time since 2018. 

After taking two-of-three against Eastern Michigan last weekend, the Golden Flashes will travel to Muncie to square off against second place Ball State to close out the regular season. Holding a half game lead over the Cardinals, Kent State needs to avoid a sweep this weekend to win the regular season title and host the MAC Tournament.
