Hatch Leads High-Powered NMSU
AnalysisLAS CRUCES, N.M. — After being blitzed by Texas Tech, 16-1, during a midweek game, New Mexico State wanted to get the bad taste out of its mouth. The Aggies did that Friday night with a 13-2 pummeling of Mount St. Mary’s to open a four-game series at Presley Askew Field.
“We kind of got our mojo back today after we kind of lost it a little bit against Texas Tech,” senior shortstop LJ Hatch said. “It was just a bounce back day. This is what we can do. This is just how we should play every day.”
