Illinois Relentless Against Southern Miss
A year ago Illinois kept themselves in the postseason picture, going 31-22 overall with a 17-7 mark in Big Ten play. Their biggest statement win came in early April, taking a series at Iowa and eventually earning the No. 4 seed at the Big Ten Tournament. There, with an automatic bid on the line, the Illini went 0-2 and saw their season come to a close.
