Northeastern continues surge, but still seeks another gear


Northeastern got off to a 3-3 start this season while playing the opening three weekends at destinations of more than a combined 5,000 miles away from its Boston campus.

Once they got their feet under them, the Huskies have been one of the hottest teams in the nation, going 22-4 with multiple wins over ACC programs and traditional Northeast frontrunners like Connecticut, Bryant and Central Connecticut State. But Northeastern is still seeking its best baseball.
