Shriners College Classic: Everything That Caught My Attention Friday


Louisville’s Christian Knapczyk looked outstanding … Knapczyk is a guy we fell in love with last season with his defensive ability and offensive prowess, and he was again special Friday night against the Aggies. Just call him the tone setter. Knapczyk smashed a 94 mph heater for a double to lead off the game, and the Cards never looked back. Knapczyk finished the night with a pair of hits, including a walk, and was very good and smooth defensively as well. He earned plenty of praise from Texas A&M coach Jim Schlossnagle after the game.
