HOUSTON — Louisville has always been a program that thrives following adversity. It’s something that has been in its DNA since Dan McDonnell became the head coach.

So, given historic precedent, it should come as no surprise that the Cardinals shined this past weekend at the Shriners College Classic, pummeling Texas A&M in last year’s Super Regional rematch, edging TCU and blowing out Michigan to end the weekend.
