Indiana disrupts Ohio State early, piles on late

OMAHA, Neb. – During the second game of Thursday’s action at the Big Ten Tournament, Indiana and Ohio State engaged in early contest of exchanging blows. Ultimately, it was Indiana that came out on top, doubling up on Ohio State in the 14-7 victory.

Although Ohio State freshman righthander Gavin DeVooght had an impressive first inning, throwing 92-94 mph fastballs while mixing two sharp yet distinctly different breaking balls, his velocity dropped to 90-91 in his second inning of work, and the Indiana batters started to tee off on him.[…]
