Sorenson: Clemson catching fire at the right time

BRIGHTON, Mass. — Two things were working against Boston College this afternoon in their third game of the weekend vs. Clemson. First there was the “Bird Flu.” And then there was this Clemson pitcher named Caden Grice.

Boston College head coach Mike Gambino said after the game, “This is NOT an excuse, but we did have 15 players who were throwing up in the pregame today,” as he carefully threw out that fact.
