Etheridge: Van Horn’s lineup magic leads to Arkansas victory

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark – Dave Van Horn sat in his office, writing names on a lineup. This was easier a few weeks ago when both his leadoff and key power hitter were available. Instead, the coach is enduring a section of the season where the injuries have mounted, testing his Arkansas team’s depth.

Eventually, Van Horn got a lineup he felt might work. He then brought in his coaching staff to provide feedback. Some tweaks are made based on all the available data points and evaluations.
