At The BallparkCHARLOTTE, N.C. — The ACC title game matchup is set — and it is compelling. Florida State took down Wake Forest 9-6 in Saturday’s first semifinal game, and Duke came from behind and busted open a close game late to top Miami 8-2 in the nightcap.
The finals will be a juicy matchup between two teams that have dealt with injuries to key starting pitchers down the stretch, but have managed to piece it together on the mound during 3-0 runs to the ACC title game, led by mature, explosive offenses and versatile bullpens.
