Frisco Classic, Day Two: Shockers Roll Again; Aggies Trending Up

FRISCO, Texas – Despite being the only team at the Frisco Classic with a losing record, Wichita State moved to 2-0 on the weekend with an 8-2 win over Washington State in the early game on Saturday. 

A pair of pitchability lefties squared off on the bump, with Payton Tolle taking the ball for the Shockers and McKabe Cottrell going for Wazzu. 

A day after delivering a bases loaded double to propel his team to victory, two-way standout Tolle turned in an impressive performance on the mound.
