Gators Down Dogs, Lock Up SEC Title

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — If there is one word you relate with Florida Gators baseball, it is “champions.” 

Today, the Gators added another title belt to their growing trophy case, beating Georgia in fast fashion, 9-3, and staking claim to a tie for their second straight SEC championship in a row. This marked the third time in program history that the Gators had won back-to-back conference titles; 1980-1981, 2010-2011 and now 2017-2018. 

With the win, Florida has also yet to drop a weekend series on the entire year and need just one more win, or one more Arkansas loss,[…]
