Hawaii tops Long Beach to keep postseason hopes alive

LONG BEACH — I know it’s probably not likely happen, but it is fun to imagine. 

Hawaii hasn’t been in the NCAA Tournament since 2010, when they were sent to the Tempe Regional. This year, the Rainbows have been a much improved team in Rich Hill’s second season at the helm. But coming into this weekend UofH was No. 68 in the RPI with a record of 32-15 overall and 15-9 in the Big West.
