At The BallparkEVANSTON, Ill. – Ben Greenspan didn’t know what was in store for he and his team looking ahead to the 2024 season when he was hired to be Northwestern’s head coach late last summer. The athletic program already some significant big picture problems dealing with hazing scandals that led to them dismissing both their football and baseball coaches. Numerous players, including most of the Wildcats’ top prospects, used the transfer portal as an opportunity to abandon what seemed to be a sinking ship.
