B1G April for Purdue leads to first place ascension

Coming into the 2024 season we knew the Big Ten would have some tricks up its sleeve. There were three new head coaches and a few of the usual, perceived powers in the league lost some significant pieces talent-wise. The coaches in the conference collectively projected Iowa, Indiana, Maryland, Rutgers, Nebraska and Michigan to be the league’s top six teams, in that order and D1Baseball’s own projection was pretty much in agreement with the league.
