Spratling: Oregon executes at high level in series win over USC

EUGENE, Ore. — Mark Wasikowski doesn’t want his Oregon teams to be confused with those of his predecessor George Horton despite the admiration and respect Wasikowski has for his former boss. The current iteration of the Ducks aren’t going to live and die by the traditional West Coast small ball of playing for one run at a time, using bunting and aggressive baserunning to put pressure on opposing defenses like Horton did with so much success.
