OMAHA — This is the time of the CWS when things really start to get “real.”

The first weekend is over. The fanfare and regalia of the opening ceremonies is a memory. Everybody has a game under their belts to get the jitters out of their system. And it’s Monday where reality hits. It’s the first day that somebody is officially sent home.
