• The marquee game of Tuesday’s action was the evening showdown between NC State and Duke, two teams with plenty to play for, battling for at-large position and regional hosting chances, respectively. As you might expect for a primetime matchup between two local teams, the game drew a strong crowd and featured a great atmosphere, and the action on the field delivered the goods to those who hung around for four hours to watch the Wolfpack survive in an 8-7 thriller.
