ARLINGTON, Texas — Arkansas was expected to have one of the nation’s premier lineups coming into the season. Yet, the Hogs still weren’t a top-five team in our Preseason Top 25 Rankings, albeit close.

At the time, there was a reason for that.

Though the Hogs certainly had a potent lineup on paper, and now do on the field even with Matt Goodheart still out of commission, there were some justifiable question marks about the pitching staff.
