Sometimes it’s easy to overlook Pepperdine. The Waves play in the rather underrated West Coast Conference (don’t worry, the MLB scouts know all about the WCC), their RPI is always a little undervalued and their home is this bucolic little campus that is tucked away on a Malibu hillside that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, nestled among the ritzy houses of the Hollywood elite.
