OMAHA, Neb. — Tennessee entered the CWS Finals as the favorite, given its incredible pedigree and the injury issues permeating the Texas A&M roster. Well, sometimes baseball is going to baseball. As we prepare for game two, here are some inflection points from the series opener.

  • Texas A&M leads the country in drawing walks (413), but the Aggies’ two-strike approach won the day in this one. 0-2 counts were particularly problematic for the Tennessee pitching staff.
