ACC, Other Conferences Beginning To Solidify Spring Schedules


We’re getting closer to college baseball season, and that means decisions about the season structure are either here, or on their way.

The Atlantic Coast Conference is the latest league to formulate a general framework for the 2021 season, calling for a 50-game season that will include 14 overall weekends of play with either 10 or 12 being conference weekends. Though coaches would prefer to play 10 conference weekends (with three-game series) and four non-conference weekends, athletic directors could choose to segue to a format that includes four-game series and 12 league weekends.
