Stanford: A&M enters driver’s seat with win over Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. — Day two has come to a close in Palo Alto and, much to the surprise of almost everyone not living in the College Station, Texas area, the Texas A&M Aggies are the ones sitting at 2-and-0 after all is said and done. They took down No. 1 seeded Stanford 8-5 in the nightcap of the doubleheader to leap ahead of the other programs here in the Bay Area and pull within one win of going to the Super Regionals.
