Brothers’ late homer leads Oral Roberts past TCU
ColumnsOMAHA — Oral Roberts spent all of last weekend fighting for its postseason life against Oregon one week after it pulled off a historic comeback against Washington in the Fayetteville Regional, so what’s one more scrap?
Down 5-2 after allowing a three-run TCU bottom of the eighth inning, ORU answered with four runs in the top of the ninth to secure a 6-5 win that moves the Golden Eagles into the winners’ bracket to await either Florida or Virginia Sunday night.
