BYU Takes Another Big Win Over Pepperdine

MALIBU, Calif — This may not have been a marquee matchup from all the games across the country, but BYU and Pepperdine knew this was huge in their sphere. The West Coast Conference has expanded its conference tournament to six teams this season and the Cougars and Waves came into this weekend tied for seventh place with identical 8-10 marks.

But after two games of this series, the Cougars have put themselves in a much better position, winning on Thursday 4-2 and then taking game two here at Eddy D. Field 6-3.  That win puts the Cougars up to 7-5[…]
