Charlottesville: Complete Virginia team heads to supers
ColumnsCHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Army transfer Connelly Early talked about the preparation work he had done with Elon transfer Brian Edgington and Coastal Carolina transfer Nick Parker. He sat next to Northwestern transfer Ethan O’Donnell, who had beat out Penn transfer Tommy Courtney for the center field spot and ran with it all season. Georgetown transfer Angelo Tonas had picked up a couple of important outs late in Sunday night’s regional final while VCU transfer Chase Hungate pitched a scoreless inning earlier in the Charlottesville Regional and has been an important bullpen arm all season.
