RIVERDALE, N.Y. — Well, I suppose I should’ve listened to Fairfield University head coach Bill Currier. He called this year’s batting order the best he’s had in his 10 years at the helm and, yes, they proved that once again here at bucolic Van Cortlandt Park, pulling off a pair of big wins over Manhattan, 19-9 and 8-4, to sweep the four-game set.
