WILMINGTON, N.C. — Opening weekend was a rousing success for Virginia, even though the Cavaliers had to cope with some weather-related travel logistics headaches. Instead of playing all three days at a tournament hosted by UNC Wilmington, Virginia started off the weekend by facing Navy in Charlottesville due to a wet forecast in Eastern North Carolina.
