ColumnsOMAHA — With two outs in the ninth inning Wednesday, the Vanderbilt fans behind the third-base dugout at TD Ameritrade Park began chanting: “Don-ny! Don-ny! Don-ny!”
Michigan’s Riley Bertram worked a two-out walk, but the chanting did not subside. Up stepped Ako Thomas to face Vandy’s Jake Eder, and the chanting resumed: “Don-ny! Don-ny! Don-ny!”
