Get Ready, Coaches: The One-Time Transfer Waiver Is Coming

The Division I Council is expected Wednesday to formally submit a proposal to institute a universal one-time transfer exception for all spring sports, including baseball. The proposal is expected to include football, basketball and ice hockey as well — all sports that previously did not allow student athletes to freely transfer.
