Grand Canyon Completes Epic Week With Sweep At Dixie State

SAINT GEORGE, Utah — I gotta give head coach Andy Stankiewicz, his staff and his players some credit. Earlier this week they got a lot of national pub (that’s short for “publicity”) for taking a pair of mid-week games from No. 4-ranked Texas Tech. 

Then, they went on the road against a very capable Dixie State team, and you could probably excuse them for having some sort of hangover effect from the wins over the Tech Big Boys. But no dice, they didn’t flinch. Today’s 6-5 win concluded a three-game road sweep of the Trailblazers at Bruce Hurst Field.
