The biggest surprise was that we actually got very few surprises in the Regional and Super Regional rounds of play. Sure, the ACC supplied most of the drama with NC State posting a stunner over No. 1 Arkansas and Virginia making the field of eight as a three-seed, just like they were in 2015 when they won the big brass spittoon.
Other than that, there is no real Cinderella out there. No small school. No directional names.[…]
