It was great to get up to Eugene and take in the series between two really good squads in Utah and Oregon this past weekend. The Friday game was officially “rained out.” So they played a doubleheader on Saturday, which the Ducks impressively swept 7-5 and 5-1. The Utes bounced back on Sunday to win a slugfest, 9-7. 

I got a good chance to talk to Oregon head coach Mark Wasikowski about the state of the union for the Pac 12 and West Coast baseball in general. Here is what he had to say, almost unsolicited.
