COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M is a prime example of why college baseball is often called a marathon, not a sprint.

Just a month ago, the Aggies’ situation was a stark contrast from where they currently sit in the SEC pecking order. The Aggies were coming off a series loss to Pennsylvania, an extremely poor showing at the Frisco College Classic, and a rather lackluster performance in a series win over Santa Clara.

They entered Southeastern Conference play with a whole lot of questions with very few, if any, answers.
