HOUSTON — Nothing could’ve shown what Pat Hallmark’s UTSA program is all about more than how ace righthanded pitcher Luke Malone handled a precarious situation in the bottom of the sixth inning in Friday’s 4-3 win over Rice.
Malone allowed a two-run home run from Rice’s Guy Garibay in the first inning Friday afternoon but had put up several zeroes before the Owls came to the plate in the bottom of the sixth.
