MESA, Ariz. — After a nail-biting ninth inning that saw Grand Canyon put the tying run 90 feet from home, Sacramento State escaped the jam to pull out a 5-4 win here at Hohokam Stadium. That means for the third time in the last six year the Hornets are heading to the NCAA Tournament as the winners of the Western Athletic Conference.
