ColumnsARLINGTON, Texas — At 7:33pm central time the Oklahoma Sooners found out that they were not going to be hosting a post-season Regional in Norman.
At 8:01pm central time they officially didn’t care.
That was the tick on the clock when the Sooners finally got the last out of the night to complete their dominating 8-1 win over their hated rivals, the Texas Longhorns.
Of course, those Burnt Orange boys got pretty burned here today but they can put on the cooling salve of knowing they’ll be playing at home next weekend in the Austin Regional, as announced by the NCAA Selection Committee.
