UConn Makes Most of Extra Opportunities Against Rutgers

STORRS, Conn. — The second inning proved to be a double killer for Rutgers in Friday’s day/evening doubleheader at Elliot Ballpark. The Scarlet Knights took an early lead on Connecticut in both games. The Scarlet Knights then gave up that lead with a quickness, allowing a four-run scoring burst despite giving up only one hit in the bottom of the second inning…in both games.
