MESA, Ariz. — Head coach Andy Stankiewicz basically had an extra “Free Play” coming into the WAC Tournament. Taking a look at the tournament bracket, he had the opportunity to put an “X” over one of Grand Canyon’s games and mark it is a win before any of the action even got underway.
