Fall ReportSAN DIEGO — It seems like just about every coach in the country was excited about the 2020 season, and most will tell you that they liked the direction of their team when the COVID-19 shutdown hit.
Put San Diego head coach Rich Hill in that category, but add a dose of emphasis too. His Toreros were 12-4, and that included pretty solid wins over teams like UC Irvine, Oregon, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and an impressive series win at Indiana in mid-30s temps.
