Fall ReportWINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Baseball programs at expensive private schools like Wake Forest typically operate on a cycle. Because the cost of attendance makes it so much harder to build the quality depth that is required to sustain high-level success year after year, these private programs are often built to try to make a deep run about once every three years, while hoping they can stay competitive and get hot at the right time in the other years.
