2022 Fall Report: Arizona

Year one of Chip Hale’s tenure as the Wildcats’ head coach was a successful campaign on several fronts. Arizona reached a regional final, losing to eventual national champion Ole Miss. Catcher Daniel Susac was selected 19^th overall by the Oakland Athletics, becoming the 12^th first round pick in the history of the program. Most importantly, the program vibe is one of continuity, and that is a very pleasant surprise given how tumultuous many coaching transitions can be.
