BRIGHTON, Mass. — When Todd Interdonato was deciding whether to leave his post as Wofford’s head coach to take the same job at Boston College, he made some calls to get a sense for what type of program he would be taking over.

“Everybody just talked about how welcoming everybody is, how much of a family atmosphere Boston College is,” Interdonato said. “In the back of my mind I was just thinking, ‘Man, these people are setting expectations way too high for how much family-oriented and community-oriented this is.’”
